Did Lil Wayne Bail On Eminem At Bonnaroo?
“Chant Weezy, Chant Weezy” commanded Eminem as an 80,000 plus crowd looked on in anticipation. All eyes on the stage and the chants failing to dim the air, Lil Wayne was no where in sight, but was he supposed to be? This all went down as “No Love,” was ready to blast through the speakers of the main stage at the Bonnaroo Music Festival Saturday Night. Steve Kookoothe a Bonnaroo attendee told TheSource.com, “Eminem was trying to get the crowd to chant Weezy before they were going to perform “No Love,” but Lil Wayne never showed up. They went into the song without playing his part.” Lil Wayne had performed late Friday night at the Festival’s second largest stage.
No word as to why Lil Wayne failed to appear after multiple invitations from Eminem. We hope “No Love,” was lost between these two Hip-Hop giants.
